Dutch students return home
The first part of the annual Dutch exchange has taken place with 18 Dutch students and 2 staff visiting Fermanagh for 4 days. The group, hosted by families from Devenish and St John’s Business and Enterprise College, Dromore had a very enjoyable time.
When they arrived on Sunday they met up with the students and their parents and spent the remainder of the day with their host families. Over the next few days they spent some time in both schools, had a tour of Enniskillen and a boat trip to Devenish Island, visited Londonderry, went to the cinema and enjoyed water activities on Lough Erne. The highlight for everyone though was the home hosting.
The group of Dutch students were excellent ambassadors for their school. Devenish students will have the opportunity to visit Dr Mollercollege in Waalwijk, Netherlands in the near future for the second part of the exchange.
